The NMGA Golf Tournament will be held on Tuesday, September 25th at the Inn of the Mountain Gods Golf Club.  Shotgun start is at 1pm and there will be prizes and drawings for golfers and teams alike.  For more information on the Golf Club go to http://innofthemountaingods.com/activities/championship-golf/ .

April 30, 2018 - Call for Presentations for 2018 Pipeline Safety Seminar

The New Mexico Gas Association (NMGA) is issuing a call for papers for lecture topics at the 2018 NMGA Pipeline Safety Seminar. We invite authors to contribute original research articles as well as review articles.

The primary purpose of the NMGA is to support pipeline safety, promote pipeline public education, create training opportunities for pipeline operators, review new regulations, and enable communication between operators. NMGA shares data, practices and engineering, operations, and management programs with members with a goal of contributing to improvements in safe and reliable transmission, distribution and use of natural gas. In the spirit of NMGA’s mission, topics of
interest include (but are not limited to):

July 2017 - Board Elections, Membership Renewal Time  and Upcoming Training - a letter from the President of NMGA

 It’s time once again to renew your membership with the New Mexico Gas Association for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, which runs from July 1st to June 30th.

During the past year, the NMGA Board continued to focus on improving communication, promoting education, and providing training opportunities to members. Last year we focused on promoting education and pipeline safety through a series of articles on pipeline safety topics that were posted on the website and LinkedIn Group.  This year, our intent is to continue offering training classes and provide helpful information throughout the year on the NMGA website (www.nm-ga.org)  as well as the LinkedIn Group. The biennial Pipeline Safety Seminar will be held in Fall 2018.

For 2017, the NMGA Board is scheduling a Leak Survey training in the fall. The training will be free to all NMGA members. The registration form will be sent out in late July and posted on the website. 

2017 is also a NMGA Board election year. The nominating committee consists of Leslie Graham, Robin Lawrence and Antonio Herrera. NMGA is accepting nominations for the position of president, vice president, secretary/treasurer and two directors. If you would like to nominate someone for these positions, please contact Leslie Graham at leslie.graham@nm-ga.org. The deadline for nominations is September 1st. The Q3 NMGA board meeting will take place at the NMRCGA conference in Albuquerque at 2:30pm on September 20th.

February 2016 - NMGA announces the abstracts for all of the presenters for the upcoming 2016 NMGA Pipeline Safety Seminar April 12-14, 2016

The 2016 New Mexico Gas Association Pipeline Safety Seminar is 49 short days away. The NMGA is proud to announce the abstracts for the presentations at the upcoming conference. There will be 15 different presentations and two hands-on trainings at the two day seminar.


There will also be a panel discussion with the New Mexico Pipeline Safety Bureau (PSB). Look for the Survey Monkey questionnaire sent to previous participants and current NMGA members for your chance to influence the discussion topics.

Please give a big thank you to board member Robin Lawrence for making the training session possible. Our intent is to offer another training class in Fall 2015.
